Our Service Projects

International MOMS Club chapter's are asked to perform one service project per year benefiting children in their community. Our chapters continually exceed this requirement in supporting other moms and children in the Phoenix North Valley.

Some of our past Service Projects have included:

  • The members of our club raised enough money to replace the entire broken playground structure at My Sister's Place, a local battered women's & children's shelter.
  • One of our members will be walking in Susan G Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk in the fall of 2004. As a club we helped her raise the $2000 needed to participate in this walk.
  • Bake Sale to benefit a member of another local MOMS Club whose family had recently suffered two devastating losses
  • Calendar Sale to benefit a set of grandparents who moved to the area to help care for their grandson who suffered a severe head injury as an infant
  • Donation of new toys to the "Andrea's Closet" Program at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix. This program provides toys to children going through painful and frightening procedures
  • Donation of new clothing to the Family Advocacy Project of the Phoenix Police department for survivors of rape and/or domestic violence Mother's Day pampering for mother's at the Homeward Bound center
  • Donation of personal items and cleaning products to My Sister's Place
  • Adopting a family in need for Christmas
